Take Two Film Academy is the first and foremost film school for kids and teens dedicated to teaching young people video and media literacy. We firmly believe in putting all the tools of filmmaking in the hands of our students. We value the learning process above all else which means that kids are creating the stories, holding the cameras and making the final cut. Take Two was founded in 2009 and has served students throughout NYC, New Jersey, Long Island, and Boston MA. We work within dozens of schools as residency and after school programs in addition to running or stand alone workshops. Take Two student films are regularly screened at local festivals and have been a part of the Tribeca Film Festival since 2013.
Megan Kiefer is the founder of Take Two Film Academy and has been educating young people in storytelling and filmmaking since 2004. She has a BA from Tufts University and and MBA from Babson College.
